Southgate County Football Club

The football club was formed in 1910 with the first fixture being played on the 3rd December, at Fox Lane, when a team of former pupils played against the school team. With the final score of this historic match being 3-3.

The club is fully amateur, currently running 4 Saturday XIs who play in the Amateur Football Combination and Vets (35+) and Super Vets (45+), who play Sunday friendlies. We play all our home games at the School or at Enfield Playing Fields.

Pre-season training is held every Tuesday - 7pm-9pm @The Clubhouse

Starting second Tuesday in July through to the end of August.

Season training is held every Tuesday - 8pm-9pm @Southbury Leisure Centre, Southbury Road, EN1 1YP

Starting first Tuesday in September through to mid-April.

Our standard is competitive but very social, with our 1st team playing semi-pro standard and our lower teams for the 'love of the game'
